We ventured out on Sunday lunchtime, having read that it had reopened. We walked along the sea cut and it makes a great end destination for refreshments before the trip back.
We sat outside as we had the dog. Views across the valley are beautiful.
The menu choice was predominantly snacks which suited us. A specials board with some heartier meals might have been a nice option. The chip fryer was out of order when we visited, so maybe this is why no bigger meals were available.
I ordered a Ploughman's Lunch which was excellent and very good value at less than a fiver. A bacon sandwich and a chicken and bacon Panini were also well received, though a bowl of chips would have finished them off nicely.
Everything is very reasonably priced, even the bottled and canned drinks.
We were very impressed and I will definitely visit again.
