My wife and I have just returned from a weekend break to Scarborough and we decided to try this Spanish bar tucked away in a side street close to the sea front having read all the good reviews on trip advisor. The meal was superb and with a litre of sangria all for the price of £21 overlooking the sea it was just perfect. The only down side is the fact that Scarborough Council are still in the dark ages and won't grant them a drinks licence to open after 6pm. I don't know what their problem is, the premises are spotless, the music is tastefully low key, and the restaurant is geared up for couples looking for a lovely meal in peaceful surroundings. Perhaps the authorities would prefer groups of noisy students instead so come councillors have another look and use common sense. We will go back because there was nothing to fault with the meal or the owners, they are trying hard to make a go of it and it shows in the end product, well done and keep applying for that licence, you deserve it
