I was all set to give this a great review as it's a lovely little trip from north bay to scalby mills but our journey upset me.
We were on a budget as it was a last minute birthday trip but forked out £6.60 for two return tickets. The trip was enjoyable but very short, but being a music fan, I really enjoyed seeing the backstage area of the open-air stadium.
On our way back, the conductor asked for our tickets and I couldn't find them in my bag whatsoever, possibly as the tickets are approximately the size of a postage stamp. The guy was unsympathetic and to be able to get back into town we had to spend another £5.40 for two single tickets, making our trip £6 each which would have been much better spent elsewhere, and put a real downer on what had been a lovely birthday trip.
