Stayed here for 3 nights mid week, excellent value for money. Had requested a first floor room near lift and that is what we got. The room was a good size and overlooked the roundabout at the front with floor to ceiling windows,so nice and bright. As you would expect in a town centre their is some traffic noise and sound of people outside but nothing to excessive.Car parking was not a problem as the open car park opposite was free between 6pm and 9am. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. The Brewers Fare next door was very convenient and offered good value meals with prompt friendly service.Would stay again if in area

We stayed in April with our 2 small boys and disabled father. The facilities in the disabled room were fantastic with everything at the right height for someone in a wheelchair. Our family room was extremely spacious and clean however there wasn't much storage space for clothes etc. The breakfast was ample and hot with plenty of choice however we did have an evening meal in the pub where the meals were served and had to wait a long time to be served for both our meals and at the bar. We did see several families give up and leave without eating. The main problem we encountered was the lack of parking, even with my fathers disabled badge. My husband spent over an hour outside the Grand Hotel waiting or a space but to no avail. Apart from that we enjoyed a good time at the Premier Inn and would definitely return again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, the first time it was excellent could not fault it.
However this time i have a couple of niggles.
1/ they only supply one hand towel to each room (booked two) and there were 5 of us, they did give us further towels on request though.
2/ was not as clean as the first time we stayed, there was dust along the top of the headboard, there were a couple of lighting problems but was seen to when reported.
3/ there was bird pooh on the windows (dam seagulls!) dont know how long it had been there.
Apart from that we had very pleasant stay (two nights) and the staff were very good.
Oh one other thing, never enough sugar in rooms, but again sugar available on request.

Room Tip: If you use a car park, use the NCP Balmoral which can be found at the back of Wilkinsons, pedestrian...

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, rooms were spacious and well-maintained and everything from booking to checking-in to leaving was quick and effortless.

The hotel is right around the corner from the main shopping street in Scarborough and is a 5 minute walk to the sea front.

This Hotel was very comfortable and quite in a very central position. The staff are friendly which helps make your stay more enjoyable. The only negative I have is that there is no parking facility as we stayed for 2 nights and that cost us £24 in a car park opposite the hotel which makes an average stay into an expensive one.

Spent 2 nights here with the family. Very pleasant staff. Nice clean comfy room. Doesnt have its own car park, but plenty of car parks nearby.
Only slight grumble is the food in the Brewers Fayre, which doubles as the breakfast room. Not just this one, but all places in this chain serve the same stodgy supermarket food dressed up to be some gourmet delicacy. Would recommend the hotel, but eat out.

We have just returned from a weekend in Scarborough where we stayed at the Premier Inn. This hotel was excellent in every way. We have stayed at high end hotels in the past and been so dissapointed, but not this weekend. The staff in the hotel and Brewers Fayre next door were all faultless in every way. Nothing was too much!!! Well done to you all. Will definately be back.
