Went for lunch with my husband on a Friday afternoon. We ordered the cajun chicken nacho sharer starter and the brunch burger to share as well as a hot chocolate and a glass of wine.
The nachos came first and were very hot, huge portion even for a sharer platter and quite tasty, the only thing we both said was that it was a bit dry as the chicken wasn't in any kind of sauce. However there was loads of chicken and cheese and we were basically full before the burger arrived. To be honest that was probably a good thing as the burger was disappointing considering the good start. We cut the burger in half to share and I immediately noticed it was slightly pink inside. Forgive me but last time I checked we ordered a burger not a steak! And even if they do like to cook to personal preference we weren't asked how we would like it. The burger was also missing mushrooms that the menu stated came on it. The chips and coleslaw were nice.
The only last thing I would say is that service with a smile goes a long way. Whilst the girl at the bar who served us was polite and efficient she by no means stretched herself to friendly and during our visit often looked in a foul mood and quite miserable.
Overall fairly nice food and would return, just not for a burger!!
