“Another great weekend again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013 via mobile

This was our 4th stay and once again it was fab.

Couldn't have a family room ( my fault as I left it late in booking) but wasn't a problem as we were able to have two double rooms side by side. I slept in one with our youngest girl and my husband in the other with our eldest. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a gorgeous sea view.

Breakfast was great and set us up for the day. Sally, Gavin and staff really go out of their way to make sure their guests are looked after and many of the guests come back year after year.

We've already booked our weekend stay for next year.

I recently stayed here wiv my mum, dad and daughter. I shared a room wiv my daughter, it didn't have a seaview but didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The en-suite was small but didn't struggle to use it. We had chose bed breakfast and evening meal, anyone who chooses not to have the evening meal is stupid. All home cooked, lots of choice and so yummy. We will definitely be returning here in the future. Have already recommended to lots of friends. Thank you :-)

First time we have stayed at this hotel.and it won't be the last!!. We booked up at short notice for a 2 night stay and were given a large family room with bunk beds and en-suite. Even though it wasn't a sea view room, we still had a great view as we were on the third floor. The breakfast was great and there was so much to choose from that it set us up for the day. The hotel was in a fantastic position for exploring scarborough and surrounding areas, be it on foot or by car, as it was only a 10 min walk into the town centre and South Bay. My hubby , myself and 2 children really enjoyed themselves and hopefully we will be back sometime next year!!

Room Tip: our room was no 22,which was a large family room with no sea view, but was still excellent.

We had a nice 2 night stayover at the Victoria Seaview Scarborough North Bay last week (August 2013)
The room was small but clean and tidy with a small shower / toilet in the en-suite and a handwash basin in the bedroom.
The staff were very courteous and went out of their way to be helpful.
We just had breakfasts, chooing to eat put in the evenings. The breakfasts were nice and of the typical full English variety, but you could just have cereals or fruit bowl for example

All in all a very nice stay and we would go there again.

Room Tip: There are no lifts so beware of the higher floors if you are less spritely

we arrived at the hotel at lunch time 3pm we could go to our room but it was ready so we went straight in double room was big enough for 2 en-suite shower and toilet small but adequate 6pm tea time 5 courses food excellent, breakfast 8.15am again food excellent and plenty of choices. the owners were very nice people and sat and spoke with everyone in the evenings the staff waiting on were polite attentive and efficient and saw to everyones needs especially the young girls, you have your own car park space, the hotel itself was very clean and tidy. plenty to see in scarborough well worth a visit and this hotel is all you need for a great stay only 3 days we stayed this time but it will be a week next time .

Room Tip: ask for a sea view and there is no lift so if you are not good with stairs mention this for a lower...

First visit to Scarborough and Victoria Seaview but would certainly return to both ( that's if Northampton and York and in the same League next season!!). Light airy room on the fourth floor ( no lift) gave fantastic views of the bay and the antics of the swifts and swallows was a bonus. The choice and quality of the breakfast was excellent and based on this we chose to return in time for the evening meal ........ 5 courses with the best mushroom soup I have ever had, traditional roast beef and Yorkshires ( with seconds) and scrummy rhubarb crumble/strawberry pavlova ...... decisions, decisions! Excellent value for money and wish our stay had been longer ....... at least until we could have tried the Steak and Ale Pie !!Thanks for a great stay!

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view ....... also .... in-laws had a much smaller room so it is worth checking the siz...
