“great little hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Firstly, I don't agree with Brian of Hartlepool, we found the hotel owner to be very welcoming. We only stayed overnight, but it would have been nice to stay longer.Nice very clean room, and on what was surely the hottest night of the year in Scarborough, we were even provided with a fan ! Lovely breakfast this morning, will return here when wer'e next in Scarborough. Thanks Molly.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were made to feel very welcome and the owner was always on hand to help us with what we needed. The bedroom was spacious and clean with extra touches such as the tea tray making us feel at home. The choice of breakfast was extensive with certain foods being cooked especially for my dietary needs and it definitely filled us up! The car park at the front of the hotel was very useful and the location of the hotel is excellent as it is central to town and the seafront. We will definitely be returning soon!

We didn't realise such places or attitudes still existed. We were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than guests, we had to give a firm time of arrival as owners had other things to do and don't go down to breakfast at 8.55 as dining room locked until 9am sharp. Room was cramped and decor was dated, but clean. Good location but I don't think we'll be returning.

Whilst we still welcome guests wanting the 80's experience, please note the hotel is under new management.
