“a good choice for all”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I've stayed in Travelodge Heathrow Terminal 5 with two other persons in July, 2014. It offers everything basic things you need with a good budge. Room is air-conditioned, large-spaced. The equipment is new. The location is definitely convenient for tourists since it is nearby airport. To sum up, a good budge hotel for all your basic needs.

We stayed here for 2 nights 2 adults and our 4 year old son. it's quite difficult to find as it's actually on the other side of the motorway to heathrow airport in a little industrial estate. parking cost us 7.50 per day outside the hotel. there's a bus that takes you to terminal 5 as you can't walk it which costs £9 return per adult per day which we thought was really steep!! on arrival we asked for an airport view which we got and my son loved watching the planes take off Which also didn't cause any noise problems! room was lovely clean and spacious huge double bed but the single bed was tiny and hard but we coped. aircon was a lifesaver with the weather being so hot! we paid for breakfast each morning which was lovely, Eat as much as u want loads to choose from and filled us up for the day kids are free aswell which is good. The tube into London from terminal 5 takes about 45 minutes but really regular but gets absolutely packed. also perfect for a trip to Lego land it was only about 15 minutes in the car. Overall this is a lovely little hotel, staff are friendly and it's worth the tube trip into London to save money on Central hotel prices! would definitely stay here again :)

We stayed at the travelodge - we're a family of 2 adults and a 3 & 5 year old. Relief when we walked into the room and there were 4 real beds all made up! Fantastic!
Lovely for the kids seeing all the places landing so closely, although no issues with this being noisy.

Room was lovely and clean. We stay in travelodge's often and think this was our best one so far.

Breakfast was nice, but poorly organised with most items running out and long waits for them to be refilled. If that was sorted out, we would definitely return...a very pleasant stay.

The Good:
-clean rooms with good A/C
-proximity to airport

The Bad:
-internet was not free as advertised; only first 30 minutes.
-first gave me key to occupied room (embarrassing)
-a bit hard to find without GPS. Called front desk who clearly gave me wrong directions.
-located in industrial zone with no other parking (forced to pay 7.50 pounds for their parking) or stores/restaurants around.

On arrival we were gave the wrong room because we interrupted a guy sleeping so i returned to reception and this was sorted out and awarded complimentary drinks to me and my friends

Room was clean and adequate for our stay with two king size beds tv and washroom

Waited an hour for our dinner to be brought out but this was because the hotel had a high volume of guests eating at the same time

Overall ok stay and good location

Excellent budget accommodation
Ideal for quick easy transfers to T5 however the bus transfer is over priced! Typical national express!!
However hotel is clean, comfortable rooms and basic however suits my needs!
Quite quiet hotel and staff very friendly. If your looking for luxury and high end then it's obvious not to stay, but if you want a clean and safe place to sleep with value for money then it's perfect!

Nice rooms clean but carpets are not the greatest. Have stayed in room 133 which is large enough to get another king size bed in and a bath. Stayed in room number 3 on the ground floor which is smaller and only with a shower but bedding is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is ok. Sausage is nice and bacon and the rest is ok. Could do with some mushrooms or black pudding No plates one morning had to wait so my toast got cold by then. Juice is disgusting but you can make your own cup of earl tea and nescafe which i believe is better than the machine coffee and tea. Staff at reception were fine. Did their job and i didnt meet anyone who was difficult. If you pre-book the hoppa bus by buying a ticket inside terminal 5 (i couldnt find the machine) the bus is £4.50 or £5 if you pay on the bus and £9 return is advertised not sure if you have to pre-book that one. Food in the bar area is ok and mid priced. Burger and chips £5 and main course about £8. They do offers for a meal and drink for about £10. I was on business and my office is very close by so it served a purpose.
