We travelled from Chester to stay at this hotel the night before flying to New York from Heathrow the following morning. We found the hotel to be excellent value, only £21 for the night. We stay in Travelodge hotels regularly and this is the most modern one we have stayed in, the room was lovely, very large and modern and the bed was really comfortable. We were going to eat at a nearby pub but the prices of the food at the hotel was excellent and the food quality was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with an iron and ironing board for our room upon request. I personally wore ear plugs whilst sleeping and heard nothing, however, my fiance did not sleep very well due to people shouting, laughing, talking in the corridors at all hours throughout the night and outside whilst waiting for the Terminal shuttle but this is of no fault of the hotel. Please note...This hotel is NOT within the terminal!! You have to get the bus costing £4.50 each one way to get the the hotel which is about a 15 drive away from Terminal 5. This was still ok for us though, but it is misleading.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the main entrance, chose a room at the end of...

Checkin machine wouldn't work, ended up checking in with the particularly unfriendly staff at reception to then discover they hadn't activated the room key once I went to use it at the lift then having to lug me and my luggage back to sort, no apology. Room temperature was uncontrollable , we booked a family room on booking.com as that's what was on offer this was advertised as a double with two single beds winter side it was only me and my mum but I didn't really want to share a bed with her so this was ideal, on getting in to the room we were greeted by one double bed, not even a sofa bed which had obviously been taken out as you could seen the left over marks of it on the carpet where it would have been. Room was fairly clean and tidy and bed was pretty comfortable and room was fairly quiet. Shower was ok broken tap fixture which didn't look great. Also we discovered in the morning when when we went to turn on the mirror lights they were blown and also a ceiling light which made getting ready rather difficult when it was still dark.
On checking out we informed the girl on reception with the room issues and she couldn't of cared less, no apology just 'oh we will tell someone to fix that....will you be staying for breakfast'.....hmmm no thanks!
Ok for a cheap short stay close to T5 , wasn't expecting anything amazing just a fully functioning room would of been adequate.

Thank you for your review lauren O. We do expect our staff to provide great levels of service at all times and be helpful and friendly so we are really sorry to learn that this was not the case on this occasion. We also expect our guests to be provided with the correct room type so it is regrettable to learn that you were allocated a room without an extra bed, we feel this may have been a miscommunication with our third party and we’ll be sure to contact them to make sure we are receiving the correct booking information for our customers. We also expect that our rooms have correct working facilities so we are sorry that the lights were not working for your stay. We will be sure to pass on your comments to the Hotel Manager so our staff can be reminded of the importance of customer care. Thank you for your feedback.

Stopped here as a base while visiting family and christmas shopping. Very clean in all areas, friendly helpful staff, great location close to motorway with bus going from outside hotel to Terminal 5 so great for either access to the airport or just jumping on the tube into London.

It's got new dreamer beds which are amazing! No issue other than coins only to pay for parking - all £7.50 of them. Kept timing out as could not take £1 coins easily. Maybe have Credit card place too? because at 1.30am all I wanted to do is get to bed. Especially as I only had 5 hours in the hotel (but could only pay for up to 4 or up to 24 hours!). Clean, friendly staff and well kept. I always stay here as it's great for that early heathrow flight. Quiet rooms too.

I stayed at this hotel with my partner for 2 nights and we were very satisfied with the hotel. The rooms are a good size however the air con was slightly noisy. The restaurant and bar area were very clean and tidy and the prices were good value for money.

Well worth a visit for short or long stay. Rooms are very well maintained and beds are comfortable. Little noise from taking off aircraft. But no complaints otherwise. Staff very accomodating and worth the money.
