“Conference Centre Delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013 via mobile

3rd time to the hotel but first time using the conference facilities - outstanding customer service at every touch point. Food, atmosphere and facilities fantastic - I would stay here again without hesitation. Value for money and safe secure parking. Cookies in the conference centre awesome

Entrance of the hotel was very formal, clean and modern. Once we found our room, me and partner were slightly disappointed. Although the room was a good size, it was dirty - Hair in the bath, very dusty, marks on duvet etc. Also the window was broken and wouldn't lock, the king size duvet was the wrong way around in the duvet cover and the showerhead was broken and would move side to side when showering. However the staff were friendly, especially the maintenance man who helped us with the Tele. Even though planes would fly over the hotel, the noise was at a minimum. Bed was very comfortable and overall was a good nights sleep.

We were lucky enough to be invited to a day out at Ascot Race Course so stayed at this hotel on Saturday the 22nd of June 2013. It was a great hotel, very clean and comfortable good value. Even though the parking charge seems excessive it make sense to stay there as the locality works well.

As I was with a group visiting Royal Ascot I spent two night at this hotel and the rooms are very large and I was on the ground floor and it was very quiet. Amazing bed with great pillows and a good size bathroom and products replenished daily. A private dining room for our group was a very special treat and we had very good and helpful service from our waitress. A problem with room service was quickly rectified and on Saturday morning the concierge procured the racing post for me at very short notice.

Very well located for Heathrow and Windsor/Legoland visits. In fact I saw a lot of families there staying over for Legoland & Windsor castle visits. The hotel does packages with entrance tickets to these attractions.
The reception is very efficient and rooms are well decorated, with very comfy beds/pillows/bedding...brilliant for a good nights sleep. The hotel serves a very good breakfast as well. Not used the pool or bar so can't comment.

The hotel room was typical for a Marriott - comfy bed, clean and tidy. Not the largest flat screen TV but with freeview, international and some Sky channels (not Sports). Bathroom also well equipped and very presentable. The sound proofing is very good with no road or flight noise.

Breakfast was also very good and had a full range of options.

The drawbacks were whilst the Executive Lounge was open and staffed there are no evening cocktails on a Friday or Saturday nights or breakfast the next mornings. The pool and gym are of a very high standard but are available to non guests with membership. This means that at nearly all times it is very busy.

We booked this hotel to enable us to meet up as a family for a few days. The check in guy was so helpful and went the extra mile to make sure everything was as we wanted it to be. He booked the restaurant for us and also a taxi. We didn't eat in the hotel but did have coffees. The pool was rather small and not condusive to a good swim as there were childrens lessons taking place. The location was very good for us and we visited Windsor Castle and London. The lady that served us breakfast- very good- was a font of knowledge and taking her advise we were able to catch the bus over the road straight into the centre of London. Rooms very nice and comfortable. Would definately use this hotel again as it is so convenient for London.
