Writing this review on behalf of my wife who was part of a table of 11 who booked on a busy Saturday evening. This place is very small in comparison to other Italian restaurants in Carlisle but seem to cope well. Having specifically asked for a downstairs table they were seated upstairs with another large party of 25 which made the noise unpleasant to say the least. The quality of food during "Happy Hour" was noted as average and the full party was seriously glad to leave. There was no background music upstairs which then just allowed the noise to make them wish that they had booked somewhere else. The bill however came to a very reasonable £137 with 2 drinks each. They would however pay more next time to ensure the comfort factor is guaranteed and not left to chance.
