This was our first stay in a premier inn and I must say we will be back. Receptionist Emily, gave us a very warm welcome, was very helpful and informative. We had a family room, which was a very good size, very comfortable beds, lovely and warm. Tea making facilities were adequate, and we were told to ask if we needed more tea and coffee. Children were kept happy with a premier inn Easter goodie bag which was unexpected. TV with good selection of channels to keep everyone happy. Bathroom was great size, nice fluffy towels, beautifully clean and homely.
We opted to stay for the all u can eat breakfast at £8.25 per adult, children under 16 eat free. Great selection of cereal, yogurts, fruit, toast, crumpets, croissants, muffins......plenty of juices, tea selections and coffee. U can order a hot breakfast with selection of eggs, poached, fried, boiled or scrambled....was a lovely treat and reasonably priced considering the children ate free, it set us up for the journey ahead.
We had a lovely nights stay and looking forward to our next premier inn break. We used this hotel as it was close to the major motorways and town centre. Nearby is a leisure park with bowling, and roller skate centre. Free parking was an added bonus.
No faults at all, great time had by all.
Pls note... they postcode given via text with hotel confirmation takes u to the central premier inn, not this one. Its easiest accessed from A12 itself.
We had room 12, ground floor, the extractor fan in bathroom, could do with some WD40 as was bit nois...
