“Hardys Animal Farm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Plenty to see & do on the farm including interacting with some of the animals. Our kids loved feeding some of the animals after getting over the initial shock of animals licking & not biting their hands. The facilities were good including the indoor kids soft play/adventure area. Only downside for me was the entry price, adults & children paid the same price £6.95 but a family ticket is available at £24 based on 2 adults & 2 children.

“childrens farm and big indoor play area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

well worth the visit if you got a few hrs to spare .a fair price to get in plenty for the kids to see and do you can feed the animals but its a shame they cant get in with some of the small live stock i.e rabbits and guinea pigs my grand children wanted to get in and get a bit closer to them but couldn't .its a pity there is not more litter bins about little bags blowing around the walk around the sheep cows and cart horse's .The canteen is I think dear 70 p for a pkt of crisp really when you got a small tribe it soon mounts up I know that you have to make hay while the sunshines but this is a bit extreme I think they are not even a big size bag .acces is good for folks in electric buggys big wide paths an even the animals in the shelters is still accessible so every one gets to see whats there . the indoor play area is really good kept our 3 little 1's happy they didn'y want to leave this is good in the respect even if its not so good out side they still got plenty to do under cover.

“This farm is what you make it!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

I visited this farm with my two kids 8 years and 4 years. It cost nearly £20 for the 3 of us to enter and 4 bags of animal food which I think is quite fair.
It is quite small so if you just had a quick walk around you could be done and out in 15 mins and won't get your money's worth.
We had a good look around, fed the animals, played on the small outdoor park and then the larger indoor play area while having lunch. We went on the tractor ride around the farm (Free for kids, 50p for adults) and then again on the horse drawn carriage.
The prices in the cafe were a little bit steep but not outrageous. The staff both in the cafe and entrance/gift shop were friendly and good with children.
I saw hardly any staff members around the farm itself, I would've liked to have asked some questions about the animals but this is my only gripe.
If you take you're time you can have a good few hours out here.

“Lovely, well laid out and spacious for the animals.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

Cost wise it was good at £25 for a family of four & 4 bags of food to give the animals.
There was a wide variety of animals, most of which were recently born so the cute factor was off the scale. The most recent had piglets at just 2 days old and although difficult to see because of their mum you could just about get a glimpse. Loved the baby goats as they frolicked and sprung around fighting with each other.
Had a huge indoor play area ( jungle jim style with all the padding) for the younger kids and an outdoor area full of climbing frames for slightly older ones.
Overall a great day out and would definitely recommend at this time of year especially if you have younger children.

“Really nice here for the children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

We went here yesterday with 3 young grandchildren, cost about 6.95 each or a family ticket abit cheaper, we were there about 2 hrs so its really good value for money. The kids loved it seeing all the baby pigs & lots more animals, it's such a nice clean site and well worth a visit, I don't think you will be disappointed. a good afternoon out, also the horse and cart ride is only 50p.
