We have never stayed here but are fairly regular customers who, with a group of friends have a meal before a show. We have always been made welcome by friendly staff and have enjoyed excellent meals. The lunches at present can be from a special menu - 2 for £10 and the servings are more than enough. Refurbishment is going on at present but that has never interferred with us and the results so far seem very nice. It's lively to see an open fire on these cold wet days.
