We popped up to skegness for bank holiday weekend on off chance there were still some vacancies in guest houses. After a lot of driving around and getting hot and bothered we found the Sherwood lodge. We got a room straight away for 54quid for the night. It has its own parking which was a bonus too. The owners are very welcoming. The room we stayed in was lovely with its own ensuite. Would come again.

this was our 2nd stay at 'the sherwood' . basically just needed somewhere to stay after seeing show at the embassy. we were given front looking room with shower-room. rob and linda are excellent hosts, clearly interested in making you feel at home once you arrive. breakfast was very good 2, with plenty of choice. shower was a bit small, but then again i'm a big bloke ;) . everything you need is only a stones throw away as well. will stay again if need to visit skegness in the future.

We stayed here in January (2 Couples) for a long weekend. It must have been the coldest I have ever known Skegness to be in all the years of visiting our caravan.
The wife & I had a front facing room overlooking the park whilst our friends opted for the twin room at the back. The wind all weekend was horrible and there was a draught in our room making it chilly but when mentioned to Rob & Linda they went shopping and came back with our very own heater, a brilliant gesture.
The breakfast was great and was ample enough to put you on until tea time. In the evening we had a wander across the road to the Liberal Club. We were made very welcome and had a fantastic time in there. We will definitely go back in when we stay in our caravan.
All in all a great little place to stay in the perfect location and run by the perfect hosts. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and they go out their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For that we thank you.
Would we stay here again? Most definitely !!!

My Grandaughter aged 19 went to Skegness for an Interview at Butlins. Rob kindly picked her up at the station and took her to Butlins the following day, what great service and we felt she was safe and well looked after. She said the Hotel was clean and comfortable J Collett

We stayed a night in the sherwood hotel, and we felt asif we made the right choice as it was a lovely hotel and the owner was very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic and adjusted to our needs. We would stay here again as its just round the corner from everything and is such a good price.
