“Rip off”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

As previously stated, this isn't a theme park. A smelly hole of a market with a few rides cobbled together. The rides don't open all day, and when you've bought a wrist band then this can be a bit annoying. Quite expensive for waht is on offer.

“alright if you go off peak-mid peak”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

few of us went yesterday tuesday 15th july
which was a green day off peak £16 per adult, if you prebook online £14 adult
i have never ever been to skegness and didn't have high hopes
we arrived and it was very confusing, we parked next to the park at £5 all day
we walked through some markets- which was brilliant, i could've picked up some cheap clothes if i had time... why can't they have these markets and prices in leeds?
anyway found our way into the park and bought our wristbands
i would say its a *funfair* which two roller coaster, and a *pepsi max* ride
all rides finished VERY quick, however because it was quiet we got to go again straight away however they do make you walk round again
best ride was the fantasy island version of alton towers air!!! we went on it 3/4 times which at £3.50 a go, we got our moneys worth buying the wristband

overall would go back again but only OFF PEAK!!! it is a funfair at the end of the day and dont have high expectations of any thrill seekers ride

p.s we arrived late morning...hit the rides, then we walked to the beech, when headed back to fantasy island and went on more rides before heading back home

“just ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

It offers all the typical rides as well as a pub just as you enter the place but on entry you stumble across the most tacky outdoor market which was selling cleaning products through to really cheap and ghastly clothes. It is okay for a wander around, and okay for excited kids too but my wife and i did not really like it much here.I think some people left their manners at butlins this particular day too as we have never had so many people barge past us either.NEVER AGAIN...YUK!

“Good little place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

For a start I'd say either increase the ticket prices or employ more staff, because I think for a 'theme park/amusement park' all rides should be open all the time. Waiting one hour for the rides to switch is such a weird idea, and can leave people disappointing. Definitely avoid the volcano eruption ride if you don't like your ears popping and you can't handle a feeling like your heart is almost thrown out of your mouth. The red ride is good, but try and keep your head back if you can as on a certain part of the ride if your head is not back it gets slammed around the safety bar things and can leave you with a headache :( prefer the yellow ride any day :) many of the staff for the rides are arrogant, don't greet you with a smile and seem completely emotionless, not very enthusiastic at all. To be honest, I'd happily call Fantasy Island a permanent fairground. The rides sound rickety and unsafe, a lot of staff unpleasant, many stalls selling cheap and fake brand items. I've had this sort of experience before in local and on the move fairground rides.

“Avoid if you want a nice day out”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

Outdoor market just full of rubbish knock off stuff and once you enter you have to push your way around the entire thing to get back out. We wanted to go on the small rides inside the pyramid spend over 10 mins walking around to find the desk not very well signed at all! Another 10 mins + in the Que to be told the card machine is not working! No signs to say this and out of 3 tills 2 people on them but only 1 lass working other was stood there trying to look pretty and failing! Just stood there looking about!

So basically we traveled 2 and half hours and 5 to park to get shoved around a rubbish market. Can do that at home in honesty
