Saturday night dinner for two.
Our host was very chatty and clearly enjoyed entertaining.
Drinks in the reception (feels like you're in you Grandmas front room) before dinner.
Service was great and we felt very welcome.
Food was well cooked but wouldn't describe it as high end.
Fish was delicious and worth trying. No prawns in my Prawn salad due to a 'mistake' in the kitchen.
Dinning area (basement) was very dark which made it feel romantic but decor was very eighties so felt like being in a bit of a time warp.
Would go again as the food was nice but mostly for the novelty value.
