I stayed in a triple room with my sister. Communication before arriving had been a bit abrupt. I had had to send a £20 cheque as deposit, but didn't hear anything from them to confirm receipt of cheque and booking. Everything was fine when we arrived, but it would have been reassuring to have had the room confirmed. It was difficult to find as the Sat Nav took us to Taunton station for some reason! But we found it after a few phonecalls to the owner. The setting itself is lovely, a big old farmhouse, however it is right in the middle of a big housing estate, which was odd. The room itself was a little dated, but clean. The beds were the worst bit - very very soft. For me, this meant I didn't sleep well. On the plus side, there was a very modern flatscreen tv with Freeview channels and the tea set in the room had lovely china cups and saucers. The shower was good, but the door was hard to shut. This might not be a problem for you, but if you like some privacy, try another room. The room was very quiet with very ltitle noise from other guests etc.
The breakfast was nice. There is a good selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and Full English. It is a communal table so you eat with other guests.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place to friends, but really only because of the beds. If soft beds aren't a problem for you, give it a try.
