Stayed overnight whilst in Wakefield, hotel was clean and modern, and had all you would expect from a premier, close to the city centre, good food outlets near by.
Really like that Premiers have a excellent service when it comes to the internet, which i use a lot when travelling around on business,

I travel a lot for work and stay at Permier Inns whenever i can. The standard of room is consistent - not luxurious but very comfortable and always spotlessly clean. The thing that really always impresses me about the hotels is that no matter which location you are at, the staff are unfailingly outgoing and professional and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This was the case here when i stayed in February.

One of the friendliest, cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in - excellent value and very good food in the adjoining restaurant. Really good for families. Parking facilities were close and well kept - disabled access also excellent.

we stayed at this premier inn on the way from leicester to whitby as a halfway stopover on a friday afternoon, when we arrived the receptionest was very welcoming. We got to the room and it was clean and spacious as wot you expect from the premier inn. The hotel has a resturant and pub next to it after a couple of drinks we sat down and had a meal which was very pleasant. Overall this hotel was very good just a short distance from the m1 motorway and i would recomend it to anybody who is looking for a break on a long journey.

Room Tip: we had 26 was very quiet

Stayed socially in this hotel a few months ago and could not fault it then....glad to say things are just as good, very pleasant staff and very clean hotel.
On arrival the reception was being looked after by a lady with a very pleasant and welcoming demeanour. She explained everthing we needed to know but without sounding like a robot just reading from a script. She and her colleague were very tentative to our needs without being pushy.
The rooms are a great size with all the comforts you would need for an over night stay.

Stayed in this premier inn for 6 nights. The bedroom was 21 and this is the biggest room I have ever had. I have attached photos to show the size of the room. The bedroom seems new with a flat screen tv and nice new bathroom. The room only cost £46 per night which I thought was a very good price for August when cornwall premier inn was about £100 per night.

This is a good hotel for touring. There is a pub next door, a burger king and a curry house. We never tried the curry house or the burger king. The pub next door was a brewers fair. I found the menu very old fashioned. Everything came with chips, one salad on the menu. We got so board after a few days. Found an out of town shopping center in wakefield which had pizza hut, nandos ect. My other problem with the brewers fair was that it wasnt waitress service so you had to order everything at the bar. This can cause a problem if you have children or if you are disabled. I saw a disabled women have to also order her food at the bar, I thought they would have made an exception for her. All other premier inn I have stayed at normally have pubs with a much better menu and with service at the table. Even though the menu was very limited and terrible for you are on a diet, the restaurant was always full of locals, so they must all enjoy pie and chips and fish and chips up north.

On the first night of the premier inn my baby was very ill. The receptionist 'Liz' was so helpful getting us in contact with the hospital late in the night. We couldn't thank her enough for her help.

On the Saturday night we were woken my a drunk being violent and abusive to people in the other rooms. We telephoned reception and was told the police were on there way. We were kept awake between 2-3 am and it was very scary. The next day I make my 1st claim very under the guarenteed sleep promise. It was no problem at all and I got the refund straight away.

I would definatly recommend this hotel but not the brewers fair next door.

Room Tip: room 21 is huge

This is the best Premier in Wakefield and the newest. I cannot understand why people go to the old, tired and dated Premier Central when this new one is closer to town, same price and totally superior. It is next to a few places to have a meal like Rhubarb Triangle and the new Kashmir Aroma and just a few minutes from junction 41 on a fast dual carriageway which is not busy.I live locally so know the area well.
