“Lovely B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

A lovely B&B worth the few minutes drive from Poole for the peace and quiet of this tranquil location with stunning views. The rooms are clean and decorated to a high standard, you are made extremely welcome into Hilary's beautiful home and she clearly goes the extra mile. Breakfast was delicious, and Hilary's top tip of the fish and chip shop recommendation was spot on....Lakeside, opp Asda as you go into Poole...the best ever! Would highly recommend this quiet B&B if you enjoy a tranquil setting off the beaten track and enjoy wildlife/twitching- we will definately be back .

We stayed at Tideway just for one night before we set off to Jersey, and it was such a lovely place to stay , Hilary and Ken were fantastic hosts , and could not have been more helpful , Dollar the extremley freindly boxer was great to fuss and was so well trained , he knew not to go into the rooms .

The food was great and is possibly the best breakfast i have ever had , and their directions to the best chippy is much appreciated..

We will be returning at some time

This B&B on the outskirts of Poole down a country lane is a real find!
Hilary and Ken are very welcoming and friendly, on arrival we we shown round by Hilary and Dollar their lovely dog.
The Conservatory has a magnificent view of the countryside wich can also be seen from the breakfast room.
This room can also be used by guests in the evening as it has a brilliant Panasonic 42" T/V on the wall.
Everything was very clean and tidy, our double bedroom was large with a very large en suite bathroom, the breakfast was lovely and we would like to return next year.
Also there is plenty of room to park your car.
I have just retired and my wife is just about to and we would highly recommend this B&B.
Thank you Hilary and Ken for a lovely relaxing stay.
Ps. the STORM restaurant in Poole High Street is excellent! and the walk along the Quay is fantastic- I've never seen so many boats!
PPs. Avoid the multi-story car park, it is very tight if you have a large car.

Tideway was excellent in every aspect. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was second to none and the views from the garden were fantastic. If you are a fan of wildlife, this is an ideal getaway.

Everything about our stay was great. It is one of the best b & B's we have stayed in and over the years we have stayed in many.

Room....clean & comfortable
Breakfast.....freshly cooked and tasty
Hosts.....friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble
Venue....ideal situation for exploring the Pool/Bournmouth/Swanage area
Value for money.....the best!

Would we stay again? You bet we would!

Room Tip: Book well in advance...this B & B is popular!
