“Wonderful stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We really enjoyed our two night stay, our host Louise has made her guest house a real home from home, with WiFi, TV and a big selection of hot drinks and chocolate biscuits. Advertised as room only, Louise provides a complimentary breakfast of cereals and bread for the toaster, with many choices in the lovely guest chill out lounge. The bedroom really had the personal touch (fluffy towels, nice toiletries, even bath robes!) and very handy too - close to a nice pub and 20 minutes walk to the Quay, so good for the boat to Brownsea Island. Would thoroughly recommend the Fleetwater guest house.

been staying at b&b now for few weeks And I can honestly say it's the best accommodation I've ever stayed in and that comes from a guy that travels alot. From the rooms to the hospitality it is second to none. Will definitely be back Thankyou Louise

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We have been opened since April 2014 - so not long, and it is our intent to make sure our guests have a lovely, homely experience. We try and give a service, that we personally would like - if we stayed somewhere! We hope to see you again!

A group of six friends stayed here overnight as we were to catch a ferry to France early the following day for a cycling holiday. I had booked the accommodation for no other reason than it was cheap. Throughout the whole booking process, Louise was very friendly & helpful.
From walking through the front door, 'cheap' or 'budget' the Fleetwater is not. It is excellently maintained with comfortable, well equipped rooms. We had five bikes with us & Louise went out of her way to ensure they were stowed away safely.
Making our own breakfast in the morning was no hardship, plenty of quality cereals, bread, tea, coffee & juices - (what a good idea) - giving us the flexibility we needed to get to the ferry early.
Highly recommended - many thanks Louise.

I am unable to put in to words how fantastic this B&B is,it was beyond anything my imagination
could imagine,It was so clean and immaculate ,everything was perfect (and i do mean everything)
The bed was very comfy, tea and coffee available, biscuits so many including chocolate ones,t.v,egyptian cotton towels, bath robes(fresh and clean)safe for your valuables, sewing kit, iron, hand cream, clean face cloths (looked like new,the list just goe,s on and on,
My wife and i were so impressed with the owner of this B&B her attitude was amazing, nothing was too much trouble.
So if you need to stay in poole this is the place to stay,on a further note it is only 10mim drive to the port.In conclusion all i can say is FANTASTIC

Room Tip: Although the room was on the front of hotel which had a main road, this did not matter as room was do...

We had a week at The Fleetwater and had the front twin for our son and the rear double for myself and my wife. Firstly the greeting we received was amazing and Louise made us feel like we were a family member that we hadn't seen for ages ! The family were friendly and 2 very polite and helpful young adults were always at hand. Lovely cup of tea upon arrival made for us. The rooms are spotless and in an immaculate condition with to many plus points to mention. Plenty of different teas, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water and chocolate biscuits on offer in the bedrooms. The toilet/shower room again were spotless with lovely towels, shampoo's, conditioners, and all the other supplies Louise puts in the bathrooms.
The help yourself breakfast suited us superbly and again there was plenty to offer in tea's, coffe, cereals, toast, jam, marmalade the list goes on and on.
Myself and my family particularly liked the abundance of quirky nick nacks around the B & B, to plaques and the old fashioned suitcase in the hallway.
Louise also gives away free postcards !

This place is amazing and I cannot fault in anyway at all, It will be top of my list if I should be going to Poole again. Thank you Louise for making our little holiday very special.

Room Tip: All rooms are spotless.

Myself, my wife and our two friends from France stayed here after picking them up from the ferry. The ferry terminal was less than a 10 minute drive from the guest house. Nothing was too much trouble for Louise (owner) and her family, she even booked a table at the local pub for us (only a one minute walk from the guest house). Our room was immaculate, so clean and tidy, there was even a USB charging socket. In fact we were so impressed with our stay we asked Louise if we could book the rooms again when our friends returned to France. She managed to fit us in much to our delight.
The off road parking was a godsend, plenty of room for my large car.
Although bed and breakfast is not advertised, Louise has a breakfast room with continental style food which is available 24/7.
My son and his daughter are visiting Poole soon and I will be booking it up for them. Thank you Louise for a wonderful stay we will definitely be seeing you again.

Called in to enquire alternate local places as 'no vacancies' in window. Louise (owner) made a great effort to make an unfinished room available for us. We expected paint pots and wall paper tables when showed the room, no, this room was immaculate and appeared to be newly decorated.
We took the room instantly, great bed great shower, wonderfully accommodating host.
I would strongly recommend this B&B to anyone. Louise had thought of every little extra to make the stay an absolute delight.

Well done, top notch and thanks for your warmth

Matt
