The restaurant is on the quay of the old Ipswich Dock in an old building which has been tastefully renovated. On Tuesday they offer a 3 course meal for £13.95 a head .
We had prompt attention from the charming French Maitre D, who showed us to our table and explained the menu. The subsequent service was efficient and friendly and the food well presented and well cooked and above all very tasty.
Our table was booked for 7.00 pm and by 8.00 there were no tables free, so it would appear that it is important to book.
The whole meal with a beer to begin and a glass of merlot each came to £42.00 pretty good value for money we thought.
