We visited on a Tuesday when the fixed price menu is only £13.95 for three courses! (£5.00 cheaper I think than other nights) with only a little less selection. Started off excellent in my opinion by firstly bringing a jug of iced water, then bread basket with oil and balsamic. All ordered different starters; soup, red onion and goat's cheese tart and a chicken and bacon terrine which were all excellent. Mains were also very substantial with good helpings of vegetables. Puddings - sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie both served with ice cream and both generous and glorious!
Good location and ambience, which I can only guess is nicer in summer, efficient service (considering how busy they were). Word of warning - book in advance as numerous people were turned away on our visit. This restaurant is obviously popular and deservedly so.
