I have only recently started using this Chinese restaurant in Ipswich and i must admit that i am gutted i didn't start using it years ago. I often find Chinese food can be too stodgy and sometimes very greasy but i am very impressed with the quality at Mr Wing.
Although it is a buffet style menu it is unlike other buffets where you go and get a plate and then are presented with 50 or so dishes that are sitting under halogen lamps and then replaced with new food just poured on top of the nearly empty ones. All the food is cooked to order and presented very well on nice warm plates.
There is the option to have duck if you wish as a starter and there is a very good selection of appetizers and a very good selection of meat, fish and tofu dishes.
Service is also very good and i will only criticize that some of the drinks are a little on the pricey side, but nothing out of the ordinary.
They are closed on Mondays which is slightly strange as the restaurant is situated next door to the Regent and there are often shows on Monday evenings.
