Read the only other review on here. It looked promising.
However, firstly the pictures of the other review are out of date, the restaurant has decidedly gone slightly downhill since it was taken. For some reason the lights on the wall have gaudy orange paint behind them.. why? it does not look professional.
Overall though, the restaurant looked clean and tidy, I did not use the toilets so cannot comment on them.
We were shown to our table by a very friendly waiter, and the service was very good all night.
As food is a very subjective matter, I can only comment on what I thought of it so here goes.
Our meals arrived, and the rice looked lovely, and to be fair tasted nice. Plenty of it, they have not scrimped here. My main dish, which I forget the name of, did not fare so well. It looked decidedly iffy, and unfortunately tasted iffy as well. My meat was so chewable it was painful.
As I did not want a spicy dish I went mild, but there is mild, and there is bland, this meal was bland... sorry chef,,,
They do not use all fresh ingredients for the meals , as my partner had a whole carrot in his, obviously a frozen one. Not what we expected at all.
The stuffed paratha bread was one of the blandest I have ever tasted, and greasy.
My partner overall enjoyed his meal, with the exception of the frozen carrot.
Perhaps my standards are too high, but having being to several different restaurants, this does not offer value for money, nor is the food above the average.
For friendliness and cleanliness, this restaurant is fine.
Would I go back again, not unless the quality of the food improved. And I considered it value for money. We went to a restaurant about 4 weeks ago, and it was roughly £10 cheaper for the same meal, and in my opinion far superior than here.
Try it for yourself though, as this is only my opinion, but I was not left wanting more.
