Our first visit to the theatre although at the Regent quite often. My hairdresser said the Rock and Roll panto was great fun for adults so, as I wanted to take my husband somewhere on his birthday we went for lunch at the wonderful Aqua8 and then on here for a late afternoon performance. I was most impressed by the on line booking and print your own tickets and when we got there I found all the seats had an excellent view. The audience consisted of just 10 children and was full, so I knew Pat's recommendations were held by others as well.
The panto was great with enough to keep the children amused and the adults laughing . The pace and energy were fast and well done the small troupe who act sing dance and play in the band on stage Very impressive that one minute the fairy is casting spells in rhyme and the next she is playing saxophone for a well known song on stage . Sharply written and I imagine the script changes every night as ad libs are put in throughout the long run. We would have gone again had we been able to book for another night but I will be back with others next year. Looking forward to seeing other shows there this year as well.

Thank you for the review, it's great to hear you had such a good time with us. The cast are a talented bunch that really do enjoy every performance, that may be by a little improv here and there keeping each other on their toes. We look forward to seeing you next time, tickets are on sale for Dick Whittington at the moment so get yours while you can. Thanks again.
