We booked a 3 night stay at the Craig-Ard Hotel on Late Rooms, The Hotel,Breakfast,Carparking,Location were all ok but our Short Break was spoilt by an i phone charger going missing from our room.We had the charger on arrival as I charged my phone and left it on my bedside table.Spoke to Hotel owner but he seemed to be not really interested. Will not use this Hotel again because of this incident and the way it was handled.

I was concerned by the inference in your review that firstly
your phone charger had been taken and secondly that
I was not interested.

The staff I have working for me have been here for between
2 and 3 years and we have never had anything else go
missing in all this time. Guests have left rings, purses,
watches, earings and phone chargers and these have always
been handed in by the housekeepers and been returned
to the guests at our expense.
We have had guests who have thought they have left items
here but have searched more thoroughly at home and have
found them. May I suggest you do the same.
As for not being interested, when you rang to ask if we had
found a phone charger in your room I advised you that it had
not been handed in but whilst you were on the phone I went
and searched the room thoroughly and advised you it was
not there but that I would check with the housekeepers the
next day. I did ask each of them but they all said there was
no phone charger left in the room. When you telephoned
I advised you of this and said unfortunately I cannot produce
something that isn't there. I don't think that’s not being
interested.
In order to avoid any suspiscions none of the housekeepers
have i phones they all have Blackberry's which have a totally
different charger.

The web site does not portray this hotel correctly in any way shape or form.... we booked the four poster room which upon arrival and entering was shall we say "very dissappinting" the bed is far to big for the size of the room and you had to move out of the way for one another to get past. The decor was very tied and in need of a make over, room smelt damp, not at all clean enough, very poor standard and not worth £84. The whole hotel was in need of a make over, the grounds were also dirty and untidy. We had breafast served by nice staff, but the quality of food seveed was let down by the fact that the oil used to cook it in was very old and therefore tasted to greasy. When checking out the owner appeared in what could only be described as filthy chefs trousers, which only made me realise leaving the majority of the breakfast was the right thing to do. Visit it again, definately not, get the place upgraded and cleaned. Mike and Linda \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\midlands.

Room Tip: Don't go on the web site photo's see a few negatives and give it a miss beleive me they are...

Picked Craig-Ard mainly for parking as they have car park at rear. We arrived early but wasnt a problem. Met by David who took us to our room on 1st floor, we had room with four poster bed it was very comfortable & very good sized shower. They provide a list of places to eat that they have tried as dont do evening meals, tried a couple & they were very good. ( the london & the kings head ).Central to everything. The breakfast is 1st class, a bit of a wait but worth it, would recommend a stay & will be staying ourselves again.

Just wanted an over night stay in Llandudno and from past experience parking is a nightmare so picked Craig-Ard because it had parking, good location near shops and not too far from sea front.
Freindly atmosphere -stayed in superior double room compact but nicely decortated very comfy bed had a very good nights sleep (until seaguls work me up -can't help that though). Good breakfast nicely cooked and lovely bacon just right ( crispy bit on edges). Would stay there again. Only down side I would say need to get an new cleaner just a bit dusty in parts.

the hotel was well situtated to the centre of town but our room was on top floor and damp weather it was cold and also had no ventilation the window you could not open and the staff were not really interested to do anything breakfast it took ages the owner on the last day we were there said the staff did not turn up so some young lady took over and she was brillant and all were serve faster.

Room Tip: make the room on top your last resort the best room are on the first floor .
