5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Just got back from our second visit it to Llandudno this year. Stayed at the Can Y Bae again; faultless as always. We keep going back time after time. Dave & Michael are fantastic hosts. The hotel is spotless, the food is excellent. If you're going to Llandudno stay here; it will make your holiday - don't hesitate book it now.

We were staying with a group of members, friends and supporters of the Amersham A Capella ladies barbershop chorus. Our sea facing room was great, large 4 poster bed with lovely linen and a huge bathroom with soft fluffy towels. The staff here are an asset and are warm, friendly and efficient. We will definitely return here next time.

it may well have been winter outside but it was warm & very welcoming at the can y bae, from the welcoming call through the window on arrival to the farewell on leaving we were made to feel special. michael & david are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble, another very good breakfast, all local produce i do believe. looking forward to the next visit.

Room Tip: sea views at front, mountain views at back

A great weekend of choral competition in Llandudno, made even better by another happy stay at Can Y Bae. As ever, owners Michael and Dave make you feel at home: everybody gets the same warm welcome....and most of the guests were veterans of several visits. In conversations it was clear that no-one thinks of staying elsewhere. Can Y Bae has a beautiful location on the sea front, convenient for shopping and for Venue Cymru, Llandudno's excellent multi-purpose theatre. Dave's wonderful suppers served from 6pm give ample time to make a 7.30pm performance and after a super breakfast you just know you will not be disappointed. Can't fault this clean, warm comfortable hotel, where owners and staff are so well focused on the needs of their guests.

We visited the Can-y- Bae again this week for a theatre stopover, once again it was first class from the reception to departure. This small and intimate hotel is all about the customer and their needs, and it delivers this in abundance. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with many little extas. The breakfast is fabulous and you are really spoilt for choice. The hotels theatre themed bar is an ideal place for an evening drink or nightcap, and if you are lucky you will get to mingle with the celebs from the theatre, as we have!!
Thankyou Michael & Dave for being wonderful hosts, hope to be back very soon.

Dave and Mike will make ANYONE welcome. If you dont settle in the first 5 mins, pack your bags and leave. There is a real commitment about this hotel. One thing you look for in a hotel is cleanliness, if a hotel is clean, everything else will just fall into place. This hotel is by far a 1st class place to stay. Ive stayed in a few hotels in Paris over the past 12 years and if Dave and Mike could upsticks and move their hotel to Paris I would be delighted :-)
I think you only have to look at other reviews to realise that this hotel is without a doubt a great place to stay. We will definately be back.
Our daughter, s-i-l and Grandson called in for a drink in the bar, and I wondered why our 9 year old grandson wanted to keep going the toilet ,,,, its not like him to go so often, prior to going for a meal I went the toilet .... now I know why :-) ... when you visit, pop in and have a look ...

Thanks Dave/Mike...

The Can-y-Bae Hotel is an extremely warm and friendly place. A real home from home. Dave & Mike are excellent hosts. The meals are of a very high standard. Everywhere is very clean and comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.
