“enjoyed our stay”

Can-y-Bae

May 20, 2008

My wife and I enjoyed our stay last week.
The owners Dave and Michael were courteous and helpful making us feel most welcome. The hotel is located on the prom and only a few minutes from the pier and shops.
Our room was well furnished, very clean, and had a clear view of the whole bay.
Our food and the service was excellent. At night the bar provided good company and the drink prices were reasonable.
Overall, we thought this hotel was of a very good standard and gave good value for money,

From the moment we entered the Can-y-Bae, we were made to feel at home.
Both Micheal & Dave are excellent hosts with the most. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
We stayed in the premier room at the front of the hotel, which was a good size, had a very comfy four poster bed, and was absolutely spotlessley clean.
The veiw from this room overlooks the sea, and is second to none.
Our meal at the Can-y-Bae, on the first evening was so good, we eat there every evening of our stay, and we were never disappointed.
The menu was excellent, only bettered by the quality of the food served (always with a friendly smile).
There is a fully stocked bar, with a pleasant lounge area, where you can make new friends.
We have made new friends with both Micheal & Dave, and hope to be staying at the Can-y-Bae again, very soon.
Thankyou Micheal & Dave, for a very enjoyable few days.
Stephen & Paul.

“We shall return!”

Can-y-Bae

Apr 30, 2008

Can-Y-Bae is a damn good hotel! The management (Dave and Michael) and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely comfortable and clean. The food (prepared by Dave) is very good – a full breakfast will last you until evening dinner, which itself is very good value. Can-Y-Bae’s position on North Bay offers a delightful view and is ideal for access to the town and the theatre. Be warned Can-Y-Bae - we shall return!

“Warm Welcome”

Can-y-Bae

Apr 24, 2008

On arrival, 14th April, 2008, a very warm welcome, even an offer to carry our case to the lift. We had booked the room with a 'four poster' as it was our anniversary - the flowers and champagne requested, together with the brilliant sea view and outstanding decor were all we could have asked for. The lounge and dining room were tastefully decorated and well cared for. Plenty of choice for breakfast and very pleasant service. Lots of steps down to dining room, but they are quite willing to serve upstairs if required. We have booked to return in July with Mum who has mobility problems - and know we shall be well cared for.
