My partner and I had a fun stay at the Clontarf Hotel, Mark and Joni were very welcoming. Great place, great location. The room was very clean and stylish, the food excellent. WE WILL BE BACK. Thanks.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 2, which was very very nice. Not sure about the other rooms, as I hav'nt stayed...

Chose to have a impromptu weekend break and couldn't have chosen a better place. Hospitality was absolutely first class thanks to Joni and Mark. A fabulous guest house full of character and charm with delightful rooms. This little gem by the seaside is a must if you are visiting this part of the beautiful North Wales coast...

Will definitely return soon.

Myself & my partner visited llandudno for the first time. We had a lovely welcome on arrival to the Clontarf. We stayed in the romantic room which was large & very clean. The location was good , we were happy that it was away from the town centre bit only a short walk away.breakfast was really good, a good choice & great quality. The Clontarf is good value for money & it really made our first visit to wales very enjoyable & relaxing.

We have just returned from a nice two night stay at the Clontarf.

We had room 7, and although small, it's nicely decorated and has lovely views. There were some nice little L'Occitane luxuries in the bathroom too.

There was a great selection of food at breakfast and also in the evening, all of which was well cooked and well presented.

Being located on the quieter side of Llandudno makes it much easier to park and makes for a nice stroll into the town. The location also made it easy to drive out of Llandudno if heading further afield.

Friendly owners rounded everything off nicely, thank you.

We stayed at the Clontarf for a week on Dinner, Bed & breakfast and could not fault the room, service or food in all a very enjoyable week at a reasonable weekly all in rate. Mark & Joni do all they can to ensure satisfaction, they have won several Tripadvisor awards and have set the bar high but it would seem despite the demands on them they are continuing to achieve high standards. There were some areas that fall a little short in overall decoration but nothing to concern any guest wishing to have a more than pleasant experience. We had room 6 which was large, comfy and had a great shower with constant hot water in fact a bit like home from home. Would recommend this small intimate hotel to any seasoned traveler who requires all that is expected from a well run establishment.

Room Tip: Room 6 will give you all that you require in a large comfy room complete with "Electric" b...

Booked in here after reading the reviews on 'Trip Advisor' and because the B&B i rang first had no vacancies (lucky for me). I phoned to make a booking and spoke to Mark (the proprietor). Straight away by the way in which he dealt with the call i knew it was the right place for me. Nothing was too much trouble i.e parking space, vegetarian breakfast and being able to lock my push bike up in his shed overnight. The room itself was beautifully decorated and the fixtures and fitting were of a high quality - memory foam mattress, bottled water, power shower - what more do you need or want? Nothing was too much trouble for Mark and Joni. A defiant must for stay if you appreciate nice people (Mark & Joni) and excellent, fair, honest, genuine hospitality!

This hotel is in a superb location, being 2 mins from the beach and 10 - 15 mins walk to the town centre. There is plenty of parking so now worrying about losing your parking place if you go out for the day. We stayed in room 5 which is a little small but was fine for a 2 night stay. The room is very tastefully decorated and has a flat screen tv and dvd player (there are countless dvd`s available free of charge). Breakfast was excellent, something for everyone!. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly go back.
