We stayed for two nights in June and "oh what a welcome!" A real home-from-home that we couldn't wait to get back to. Nothing was too much trouble for Colin or Deborah and they went out of their way to ensure that our stay was a memorable one. I have mobility and other health problems which Colin and Deborah took into consideration when allocating our room which was exquisite, the bed was really comfortable, as were the two leather chairs with plenty of cushions, the hospitality tray and bathroom toiletries were exceptional, not forgetting the forgotten box. What a brilliant idea! Fluffy white towels and bathrobes plus slippers, what more could we ask for? Thanks Deborah for a great manicure, my hands were lovely and soft and my nails looked gorgeous.
The chocolate, fudge and sweets were to die for and I'm going back if only for them and the delicious cooked breakfast provided courtesy of Colin, that was after we'd partaken of an endless list of cereals, yoghourts and the most glorious fresh fruit salad, toast and a selection of jams and marmalade completed our feast. Another morsel never passed our lips till well into the evening.
A warm, peaceful atmosphere made us believe that we were the only guests there and we were treated like family by Deborah, Colin and their two delightful daughters, Nicol and Katie. Our first visit but certainly not our last. We hope to return again and again and again.
