“Stay at the Morlea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

We stayed here for one night. We had originally booked a triple room, but they offfered us a double and then a single room for our daughter when we got there for no extra charge which was lovely.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, and had everything that you needed, including a DVD player and DVDS. The location is great, just a few mins walk to the centre.
Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice
We were made to feel very welcome, and would highly recommend !

Room Tip: We had rooms 2 (single) and 3 which both looked out to the front of the hotel. The double room had a...

4 of us stayed for one night in 2 twin rooms, warm welcome, spotlessly clean and great breakfast - everything you need from a B&B!
Free parking & wifi a bonus, centrally located and a short walk to the promenade.
Would not hesitate to stay here again

We have been there for one night. The hosts, Joyce and John, very kind and helpfull. The room wasn't very big, but it was comfortable (there were also dvd). Even in the bathroom there were everything you need. They also have some books that you can read during your stay. The breakfast was great! The position is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the pier.

We have just returned from the morlea hotel, short weekend break and must say thoroughly enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere.

John and joyce run their business just like it should be with hard work, friendly greetings and nothing is too much trouble.

Location is just nice a 4/5 min walk into town

We styed in room 1 which was an upgrade on our original booking which was a nice surprise, very clean, everything in the room you need from a TV and DVDs to coffee and biscuits.

The breakfast is great with plenty of choice, good parking.

We will definately be booking up again, if you want a gret stay in Llandudno don't look further than this hotel.

We did this as a lastminute getaway so wound up here as really not that many rooms in town left but I needn't have worried. We got a lovely warm welcome including for our 2 year old. Also a better price from phoning direct.

We got the other top floor room - the family room with a double and single. The bathroom was small (upside, nice and warm) but typical of this sort of B&B layout but the rooms itself was spacious.

For those, like us who use these facilities: there is a handy sized Freeview TV with in-build DVD player. Facing the double bed but just as easily twizzled round to face the single bed/ arm chairs. Wifi in room was not brilliant: hubby's phone picked it up but mine didn't. Again, fairly typical of this sort of B&B set up so really can't be helped and more than made up but the light and airy feel of the top floor room.

We stayed at Morlea for one night on a spur of the moment weekend break booked only a couple of days beforehand.
I had read the other reviews on this site, so I was expecting the sloping ceiling and small bathroom. The room however was very well appointed, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good. A good choice of cereal, juices etc and a nicely cooked welsh breakfast.
A huge bonus of this hotel is it has parking. Admittedly a little tight especially with our large car but nevertheless something that is not easy to find in Llandudno.
I would recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting the town. We are unlikely to stay again as we like to visit different places when we get away and whilst Llandudno presents itself as a clean town there is nothing there we would return for.

Room Tip: The room we had was small and did have the sloping ceiling others have commented on. However the own...

Read other reviews about how good Morlea was and for the 2 nights me,my husband and 15 year old grandaughter stayed we were not dissapointed, nothing was to much trouble for john and Joyce, instead of an extra bed in the double room we were given another room next to ours for our grandaughter to sleep in at no extra cost,so we was not over crowded, and every thing was spotless our double room was spacous, bright and nicely decorated and was on the front, Breakfast was plentyfull with full welsh breakfast cooked to perfection, with various cereals, yogurts, grapefruit, jam and toast
Main attractions was in walking distance
Would I stay at here again... yes and would recomend others
