“Lovely staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

This is a chain coffee store, as you know, but wanted to leave a review to praise the staff. The friendliest Neros I've ever visited and nothing is too much trouble.

“Typical 'chain' coffee house, but excellent location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

All of these 'chain' type coffee houses provide an acceptable, predictable and reasonable value for money service. The USP for this one is that it is situated on perhaps the busiest junction on Mostyn Street, with windows on two sides, and for a single person, (or couple not on speaking terms), there is plenty to observe outside on the street. I'd certainly choose to use this establishment than some of the opposition.

“Typical Coffee Shop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

as you would expect from a chain coffee shop. coffee was good and average price for this type of place, free wifi is useful, my only crititism is there are too many chairs rammed in a small space so you have to weave your way to your table.

“Good, but they need to be a bit more tidy....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

The Llandudno Caffe Nero was opened in what for much of my lifetime was the town's Burtons Menswear store so it's a little odd setting foot in a place I've been in so many times in the past following such a radical facelift. Having said that I guess it's a fairly standard Caffe Nero outlet, but I am guessing as it's the only one I've ever set foot in (I've walked past one or two others). It's spread over two fairly small floors which means there isn't a huge amount of space so you're likely to have to make your way up the stairs in search of a seat but if you're very lucky you might end up on one the battered looking but comfortable sofas. Upstairs has a few windows offering good views of the town centre below so it's a nice place to spend twenty minutes or so sipping coffee and people watching.

The drinks and snacks are precisely what you'd expect from a chain coffee shop, as are the prices. Service is friendly but on our last visit the table we found had a couple of dirty cups left on it that were still there after we'd finished our drinks and got up to leave. It wasn't too busy at the time so I can't understand why the tables couldn't have been cleared a bit more promptly as leaving dirty cups on display doesn't create a great first impression. Otherwise it's ok.
