“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Beautiful promenade. Clean, plenty of seats. Amazing views. One evening there was a large screen where they were showing Jaws (the film) with tea and coffee. The following day at the Band stand there was a brass band playing Glen Miller songs with people dancing. What an atmosphere. Fantastic.

“relaxed and safe promende”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

The promenade at Llandudno must be one of the safest I've ever had the pleasure of walking. Its wide open spaces make it ideal for families, especially those with toddlers. It gives the kids room to be 'adventurous' without the fear of being knocked over by traffic. The prom was kept spotless as was Llandudno in general at the time I was visiting,(23/09/2013-27/09/2013),the time may be the reason for the lack of crowds but I would imagine it would take massive crowds to overwhelm it.
All in all Llandudno is a nice place, mainly as I see it accomodating the older citizen and families with young children. It is clean and feels SAFE. The Great Orme is worth a visit but go on a clear day to appreciate the views. The traditional Pier is worth a visit also Llandudno is a good base to explore North Wales.

“Watch the world go by!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Seemingly miles of flat, easy to access, walking. Beautiful views from one end of the prom to the other. A really wide, very clean area. Seats from one end to the other so masses of opportunities to sit and either take in the stunning views or just people watch. The opposite side of the road is populated with a range of hotels, most serving snacks, drinks and cream teas throughout the day so it is easy to branch off to get refreshments. Alternatively, bring your own and enjoy them on one of the seats - but beware the marauding seagulls! Bands play on the prom bandstand especially at weekends. There is a punch and judy at one end of the prom and also access to a variety of boat rides. it is a joy to sit there in the evenings and take in the gorgeous sunsets. Gentle steps lead down to the beach along the full lenght of the prom so you can even venture in for a paddle if you are feeling daring. It is a lovely place to fritter away time!

“Beautiful promenade”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

The Promenade was a joy to walk along. The surface tarmac was black with blue and red chippings and looked really smart. Not a sign of litter at all and there were plenty of visitors waking along it
