“Pleasantly surprised by the quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

My partner wanted to come here when we visited Llandudno last week, but I wasn't so keen. After living in rural Spain for a number of years, I'm a bit bored with tapas places in the UK, very few serve anything authentic, and upon entering this place, I thought it would be just like the others. We went straight to the back where it seemed much more like a restaurant, as the front of the bar had an almost pub-like feel.
However, once the food came I was pleasantly surprised and have to say, would definitely come back.
The different tapas were served in their own individual pots with lids, which gave us plenty of time to work through them without them going cold! Every single one was delicious. I enjoyed the patatas bravas more than any I have tried outside of Spain. We ordered 6 between 2 of us, and were gifted a 7th, so sadly we couldn't find room for a dessert, but when we return I'd like to try one, to see if the desserts are of the same high standard as the tapas.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely return.

“You can't go wrong going here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013 via mobile

I took my wife & 2 of our friends on a lovely Saturday evening. Although there were a few people eating we were shown to a table instantly by very helpful staff, and we weren't pressured into being ready to order. We ordered nearly everything on the menu as we had a wide selection of tastes, and we were not disappointed. The food arrived quickly and you could tell it was cooked fresh. We spent most of the evening there and we left with full stomachs and a happy smile from the bar staff. The meal and drinks were very well priced and the staff were exceptional. I will not be waiting so long before returning and would recommend this hidden gem to anybody and everybody. From start to finish it was first class. Very happy customers!!!!!

“Really enjoyed this...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

It was pretty quiet the night we went so a little lacking in atmosphere, but the food was great and so was the wine. Great selection of food and maybe we ordered a little too much, but delicious.

Great service and friendly staff as well.

I shall be back in August!!!!!

“good, not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

visited after reading the reviews online but was disappointed. on the plus side, the staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was homecooked and arrived promptly. on the minus, early on a saturday evening, 2 of the veggie options were unavailable, leaving little veggie choice.have plenty of tapas experience both in uk and barcelona and this just didn't make the grade.
