“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

The Wellington is a wonderful hotel, in a great location only a minutes walk from the pier and perfect for those short early morning walks down to the beach to watch the sunrise.
James and Aneta are very friendly and always made us feel welcome.
It was nice to relax in the lounge with a drink and enjoy the magnificent view looking out into the bay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the delicious breakfasts had everything we could possibly want, and lots of it!
There's no reason to want to stay anywhere else and I look forward to returning next year.

When we arrived at the Wellington we were greeted by James and Aneta, who straight away asked if we would like an upgrade, at no extra cost as they had a cancellation. They offered us a cup of tea before we went up to decide on which room we would like. The guests lounge, where we had our tea is very comfortable with a view out to sea.
We chose room 4, which is a large double with a very comfortable super king size bed and a very well appointed en-suite with an excellent shower. The decoration was very good and as it is late in the season, it looked freshly decorated and very clean.
The breakfast was superb, with fresh local produce and perfectly cooked, with a very good menu.
This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and will go on our short list of recommended hotels.
We would highly recommend this hotel to any one, perfect hosts, hotel and view, could not get better in our view

Room Tip: Would recommend room 4, wonderful sea view, large spacious room and en-suite with comfortable bed an...

Located on the sea front in Llandudno, upon arrival you are greeted by the owners, who are amazingly friendly, we only popped in to see how much for a night, and we were instantly drawn to stay. The hotel itself is very clean and decorated to a very high standard. Breakfast was outstanding, in most places you get half a plate full at most, not here, the plate was chock full of beautiful food. Personally, I have stayed in The Imperial, The Grand, The Lauriston Court, The Cumberland and a couple on Church Walks - and this blows them all out of the Bay. Will definitely go back.

Room Tip: Anyone with a sea view - the higher the better!

Stayed 2 nights in October for business lovely friendly hotel my room was a family room with king size bed and bunks the room was spotlessly clean with en suite and complementary tea coffee my room was situated at the rear of the hotel so no view but the rooms in the front all have sea views. Breakfast was delicious freshly cooked to order. This hotel is an prefect location for a break as on the sea front 2 minutes from pier and cable car not far from some nice pubs and restaurants really like Harvey’s the American diner well worth a visit would definitely return

Myself and some friends recently stayed at this lovely friendly hotel which is in a wonderful location near the promenade. James and Aneta, were very welcoming, James carried our bags to the room and put parking tickets on our cars. Free hot drinks are provided in the relaxing lounge and the breakfast was superb. The bedroom was clean, light and spacious, the en-suit immaculate with a powerful shower and good quality fluffy towels. I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to friends or returning myself.

This hotel is like being in your own living room, classy, warm and inviting. James and Aneta are the friendliest owners I have ever encountered and I travel lots all around the world. Nothing is too much to ask for from a restaurant recommendation to gluten free bread or peppermint tea. You will not be disappointed!
