“Very Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

I stayed here for one night. It's a very nice guest house located in the centre of Llandudno. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfy. The breakfast was really nice, with a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly. I paid £32 for the night, in a single room which had en suite facilities. Good price. I would definitely recommend.

I stayed four nights at Glascoed with other family members. We were made to feel welcome from our arrival and throughout our stay with warm, clean and comfortable rooms and a great breakfast as well as plenty of information supplied about the local area. The location is ideally placed with the beach and promenade close by, but plenty of other activities for all the family as well. I would definitely recommend this guest house to others and would return again.

I stayed here last night for 1 night only in a single en suite and it was perfect. The location is great, the hosts are really lovely and welcoming, the room and bathroom are spotless. I had a comfortable quiet nights sleep and would definitely return.
Sarah and Berin - Thanks for sorting out the key issue btw and not making me feel more of an idiot that I already did!!

I was very fortunate to book in this lovely guest house and was really impressed on every level.
My room was great, so warm and comfortable and had lovely touches making it home from home. This place is spotless and the en suite was too with beautiful towels supplied.
The breakfast was also superb and having read other reviews since my return I wish I had Sarah's crunchy fried bread speciality.
I only wish I had a longer stay and if I am fortunate to return to Llandudno I will definitely be booking in here and most certainly recommend to others.
Thanks so much.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments that mean so much to us. We are so pleased to hear that we exceeded your expectations in all areas and hope that we get to see you again. As a 3 star location we try to provide more than you would expect to get for the cost and knowing that this has been appreciated means an awful lot to us.

The guest house is spotless. Made to feel welcome upon arrival and thoroughly enjoed the three nights stay over August Bank Holiday. Room very cosy and very comfortable. Meals extremely well prepared and presented.

The only disadvantage is very limited on street parking. However, 50p to park from 18.00 to 09.00 at the council car park at the rear of the job centre (over the road) is very handy.

Overall a very good choice at a reasonable price. A five minute walk from the sea front and nearer for main street shopping. I would recommend gladly.

Hi there and thanks for your review.
We are delighted to hear that everything we say we deliver as a guest house we deliver really well, and that you will be coming back as we look forward to seeing you again.
Feedback is very important to us so it us very disappointing to see that we scored 4:5 and the only issue appears to have been parking. We state, very clearly on our website, that we DO NOT have parking but parking is available nearby; which you used. Having stated that we do not have parking it is frustrating to find that we have been scored as if we did say we have parking but it wasn't good enough. If you are planning a stay with us, please note that we do not have private parking, however the street we are in is free of parking charges and there is a very good surface car park near by. Nobody who has stayed with us so far has been unable to park, even on bank holidays.

We have just returned from staying at Glascoed Guest House and received a very warm welcome from the owners Sarah & Berin, a charming and friendly couple.
We had a spotlessly clean, bright room (7) with a very comfortable bed & slept well every night, The ensuite also spotless with a good shower & plenty of hot water.

The breakfast was delicious, choices for everyone and well cooked by Sarah.
Central location perfect for beach and shops, we had no trouble parking, Chapel Street is free parking.
Plenty of places nearby to eat, at the Cottage Loaf pub recommended by Sarah and Berin we had a very good meal.

Glascoed Guest House is a brilliant place to stay,a real home from home Sarah and Berin just can't do enough for you. Why go anywhere else. we look forward to returning.

Room Tip: Room 7 is a cosy, bright, quiet room we had no trouble sleeping.

Hi Dereck and Grace.
Thank you so much for your very kind words which mean an awful lot to us. We are so pleased that you chose us to stay with during your stay here as we enjoyed our chats in the bar in the evening over a nightcap and very much look forward to your next visit.

We had a fab weekend in Llandudno when we stayed with the lovely Berin and Sarah!! We stayed in a pretty en suite room, with fluffy towels and a great shower. The bed was lovely and comfy and the breakfast was superb.

Berin and Sarah's recommendations for our evening meals were spot on and they're advice on the local attractions was brilliant!!

Thanks for a great weekend, we will be seeing you again soon!!
