Stayed at St Georges Llandudno on 2nd February 2008 in twin sea front room - it was superb - bedroom well appointed and comfortable - extremely clean and warm. We sampled snack at lunch time and dinner in the evening and both excellent quality. Staff all courteous and despite on Saturday having a wedding and dinner for 110 - we had VIP treatment. Will return.

The next time I'm in Llandudno I must try some of the 24 hotels rated higher than the St Georges Hotel - they must be unmissable!
On average I spend 2- 3 nights in hotels a week on average in the UK/Europe/US on business and the St George's is only one of four or five I can recommend without any hesitation - email me if you want to know the others!
Perfect location and staff, excelent room, great breakfast + a very reasonable price. A very very good 4 star

At the hotel for a conference, so it was prettty full. My room was fine, couple of minor problems which you can expect in a large hotel, albiet it a 4*. My room was an unusual shape, as I understand most of the rooms are which adds to the character.
Staff were pretty good - receptionist cracked me up - good banter.
Very pricey in the bar - on the only night when I was paying !!

Food was quite good considering there was a formal function for the conference - it was tasty and hot.

Views over the bay are tops, unfortunately I was around the side of the hotel. But in 15 seconds from the front door you are right on the front with a superb view of the whole bay. Never been to Llandudno - favourable impression and for the time of year the excellent weather really made the difference.

Overall fine, I would go back, just make sure you shop around for the best rate ;-)

If not older than 50 it definetely does not worth 70 pounds. Nice buiding, poor rooms, affable personel, everything is adapted for aged.
