“A Pleasant Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

Stayed here in December for just one night. A grand Victorian hotel in a prominent seafront position in Llandudno. Room was pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. Staff were polite and efficient. It was a pleasure to both sit in the terrace area sipping wine in the evening and sit there again in the morning for the breakfast - fantastic views over Llandudno Bay.

stayed here jan 2013, weather was awful!! great location right on the sea front and the breakfast room looks out over the beach, near to station, shops and theatre.
Room was lovely, nice and warm, with balcony and sea view. comfy bed and all the amenities you'd expect
breakfast was nice although hot food took a long time to arrive
had a slight awkward moment when i couldnt raise anyone to get back into the hotel at midnight, eventually got hold of night manager but was an anxious 10 mins!

We spent the weekend of 12th January with our family to celebrate our Golden wedding anniversary although we live in Llandudno we had no experience of the Imperial we were very pleased with our rooms they were large well equipped and spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent with locally sourced produce. All the staff in the hotel couldn't do enough for us. We all enjoyed the leisure facilities ie. Pool and spa our family also enjoyed. the sauna and steam room. All in all it was a lovely weekend Thank you to every one who made it that way.

We stayed at the Imperial Hotel for 3 nights. We were really impressed with Llandudno and the hotel. We had a free upgrade and we could not fault the hotel or staff. Breakfast was excellent and the best home made marmalade ever. We felt very relaxed and one evening we even sat in the lobby playing scrabble, drinking wine and eating cheese and bistcuits - how nice was that!

The room was comfortable, clean and we had a very friendly sea gull who visted us each morning sitting on our windowsill (no we did not feed it - it was just friendly).

The Location was fantastic - close to the shops and right on the front. The local Weatherspoons, The Palladium, was a converted theatre and we loved it. We had an excellent good value meal at The Mediterranean and also liked the Cottage Loaf Inn ( think that was the name). We went for some lovely drives and walks and felt that Llandudno was by far the nicest spot along the north coast. We also felt that the Imperial was one of , if not the best of the hotels there.

Stayed at the Imperial Hotel whilst on business. Room was large, clean with a comfortable big bed. I had one of the biggest bathrooms ever - amazing!!! A lovely relaxing atmosphere in the piano bar in the evening and a very enjoyable breakfast in the morning. Easy, no fuss check-in and out.

Room Tip: Great views across the bay available

I stayed at the Imperial for 3 nights over New Year & it was a wonderful place to celebrate.
There was a champagne reception on New Year's Eve followed by an excellent 7 course dinner,
followed by dancing & at midnight a piper piped in the New Year.
Room was large & cosy with bathrobes, slippers & ironing board & bathroom was spacious.
Staff were helpful & happy, particularly Adam who worked in restaurtant on New Year's Eve & appeared again to serve breakfast next morning, smiling throughout.
Good location on Llanduduno promenade with fantastic views.
Would defintely recommend this hotel
