We stumbled upon this hotel and were quite happy with the accommodations for our one night stay. A lovely hotel overlooking the beach and pier. Our host was very helpful aiding us with finding a place to get our flat tire fixed. Her dog was very well behaved. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A hearty breakfast was served in a lovely, downstairs room. We enjoyed our brief stay here.

The decor of this Hotel is indeed fantastic and there is a fabulous friendly Dog. However, there are quite a few steps up to the front door and no lift. On arrival, I was not taken to my room but handed the key and pointed in the right direction. The room (no2) was immaculate and very tastefully done. The only let down was that there were no toiletries, other than a small bar of soap. Most Hotels and Guest Houses these days do provide such things, so that was a little disappointing.

On returning to the Hotel after my trip round the Victorian Extravaganza (if you've never been, don't miss it next year!) the Manager confronted me and quizzed me on the reason I was only staying one night! When I asked him for a shampoo satchet, he said he didn't have any and that maybe his Wife could lend me some when she came home at 7pm! You might think I'm being a bit fussy over a small thing like shampoo but when you're only having a short stay, the last thing you want to carry around is a bottle of shampoo/shower gel.

The cooked breakfast was good but (again I'm nit picking but some people might want to know these things) I was not told to help myself to cereal, there was no choice of fruit juice, just a glass of that made up stuff and there were no yoghurts or grapefruit segments etc. The woman Manager was quite chatty and friendly at Breakfast and Chrimbo (the Dog) was happy to be petted.

So, to conclude, on a personal level I would have liked, toiletries, tissues and biscuits in the room. (These I have had in Hotels in the same vicinity, charging less). If none of these things bother you, then I would recommend this Hotel but not if you are in a wheelchair or have trouble climbing stairs! It's in an excellent location and has fantastic views.

A lovely hotel with very nicely furnished rooms, providing a very familiar atmosphere. The entire hotel is in a perfect clean condition and you do not miss anything. It's really a "home away from home"!
The hotel's location at the foot of the Graet Orme is excellent with many Pub's and Restaurants nearby and the view over Llandudno Bay is absolutely beautiful.
The Manager and his wife are very friendly and helpful, giving excelltent advice where to go and what to see in Llandudno and around.
If I should ever get the chance to travel to North Wales again, Iwould definitely choose the Bryn y Mor Hotel to stay.

“One of the nicest places to stay in Llandudno”

Bryn-Y-Mor Hotel

My husband and I have just stayed for a long weekend at the Bryn-Y-Mor and found it to be a wonderful place, beautifully clean, friendly service, lovely food and fabulous sweeping views of the bay from our third floor bedroom window. It was a real pleasure to stay there, and I look forward to visiting again this August, hopefully.
