Award winning fish and chips and rightly so. Grab some of the best chips you'll ever have and cross the road for a pint in the sun.

“Perfectly cooked food to enjoy on a perfect afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

I was walking around the Great Orme when the wife happened to mention we might like to have some Fish and Chips on the way home. From there on she said I was like a homing pidgin.
Straight up and over the top, then down through Black Gate, to Fish Tram Chips. There can be no other.

We sat in the Sun and eat what I can only describe as perfectly cooked Fish coated in just the right amount of crispy tasty batter. The only down side was my wife keeps insisting she doesn’t need any chips but ends up eating half of mine, which again were cooked just the way I like them.

I can’t wait for the next sunny day and another attempt to walk all the way around the Orme. Everything was freshly cooked and served with a smile, I will be back.

“if you like fish and chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

We arrived just before the lunchtime rush, and had to wait a short while for our meal as the fish is cooked to order. Whilst waiting we could see the trams pulling out of the station. When the meals arrived they filled a large plate and omg what flavour the name was miost and full of flavour, and the haddock tasted as if it just been caught, the chips were crisp and not greasy. The staff were quietly efficient and very helpful.
My reccomendation is that you go and have a fantastic plate of fish and chips

“Best fish and chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

This is an ordinary chippy that does perfect fish and chips every time I visit. Cod, fresh and white and tasty is coated in light crispy batter - chips are golden and crisp on the outside and pale and fluffy on the inside, mushy peas, yum. Hot cuppa - perfection! This isn't a place to go to for a romantic candle lit evening - this is just a chippy, but the best.

Thank you for your review, yes we are a traditional chip shop that serves up quality products! Our passion is fish and chips and that's what we focus on. We also stock a number of locally sourced products including Henllan bread, Purple Moose real ale and Cowboy pickles, so we would say we aren't your average chippie.

“Best haddock chips and peas , ever.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Wet , grey day but it got a whole lot better when we had our fish & chips. The best meal and good value for money. Very good service. The fish creamy and flaky very good quality, The batter as thin as a wafer and crisp. Homemade mushy peas no colouring in them and the chips golden and dry no fat taste in your mouth. We wish you had a shop in Bolton. Will be back soon .

Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed your haddock! We aim to use the best quality fish, opting to buy from only certain fishing vessels to ensure quality and also that the fish is being sustainability sourced. We are glad you enjoyed our more fish, less batter approach! But customers please remember if you like your fish in a certain way please let us know when ordering!

Thank you again for your kind comments and taking the time to write a review! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Llandudno! The Fish Tram Chips team
