The Queens hotel is family run and we have been going for the odd 20 years for a American Square Dance w/end. The food is aways fantastic & the rooms are clean & comfortable, the staff are great & the management always available & willing to go the exra mile to make the our stay special. This hotel is very special & we have never had a cause to have a moan.
Situated right in the centre of the promenade on the sea front, three minutes from town shopping centre & of things to do.

Room Tip: located on a corner plenty of rooms with sea views.

Stayed for 2 nights in September. Location is fantastic right on the waterfront. The price was very decent for a weekend stay. Breakfast had many options on top of the traditional English breakfast.
Room was a bit small but not unreasonable. Room was clean, bed was comfortable enough to get a decent nights sleep. Hotel was quiet and our room had an ocean view which was excellent.
Elevator was appreciated for getting luggage up to the 4th or 5th floor.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Huge lobby with big windows and plenty of couches and chairs to sit in and relax.
Wifi is only available in the lobby area.
We stayed at the hotel Alexandra a few doors down in a previous visit to llandudno and this hotel is far superior for only a bit more in price.
Would stay again

Stayed here in September on a Late Rooms deal. Special offer of dinner bed & breakfast for £70 per room was great value. Food was ok for such a large establishment but I found a hair, of some description, in my starter. The restaurant manager apologised and offered another starter, but by then I was put off slightly. The hotel seems to specialise in the over 60s and coach trips and the decor certainly need some modernisation. Car park is not large enough for the size of hotel so ended up parking on a main road one block away and paying. For a one night stay it was okay but would not have wanted to stay longer.

Thank you for leaving the review, which raises some interesting points.
* Regarding our clientèle, we welcome guests of all ages, but, in common with most British seaside hotels outside school holidays, most of our customers tend to be retired.
* Regarding the decor - all public rooms have been refurbished recently to a high standard in keeping with the Victorian style of the resort.
* Regarding the car park - it is adequate most of the time, but does get full occasionally, depending on how many guests arrive in cars!
* Regarding the "hair" in your starter, I can but apologise for this, and am pleased that the Restaurant Manager immediately offered you a replacement. Incidents such as these are very rare - we do hold a 5* Food Hygiene Rating - but once is once too many - sorry!

The hotel was really good for our stay of 4 nights. Our room was a good size, and clean with a bath as well as shower. So, we had to provide our own toiletries (or buy from reception), but for such a low cost holiday this is what we expected. NIce clean fluffy towels made up for this. The food was very good, lots of choice for each meal, and very generous portions. Vegetarians were well catered for, and they can cater well for gluten (or dairy) free diets. The restaurant staff were all very pleasant, and didn't try to rush us. There was entertainemnt each evening for those who wanted it. We chose not to. The hotel is well situated for the beach, town centre, and bus stops, so it was easy to get to wherever we wanted.

The hotel was more than adequate for our 3 night break with friends. The hotel is on the seafront and whilst our room was on the 4th floor we had wonderful sea views. Facilities for the standard of hotel were as expected. Staff friendly & helpful. Food was ok with plenty of choice to suit all tastes and we even had breakfast in bed at no extra charge which was really nice. Town Centre only one minute away with plenty of shops.
