I knew of the Cottage Loaf from years ago when mother took me once. We visited Llandudno on Sunday and decided to treat ourselves to lunch here. I knew it was a little more expensive than other places, but we were not disappointed. Arriving at 12 noon we just about got ourselves a table, as all the others had reserved on them!! Now to me that in itself speaks volumes. The service was excellent as was the food. The other half had a pint of cider which he highly commended. I was on the soft drinks as I was the chauffer that day. But for us, what gave this little gem that extra tick was the fact that some of the staff actually spoke welsh - which is a rare thing in these parts of Wales these days!!!
