“Excellent food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

We were recommended the cottage loaf by the owner of the B&B we were staying in, what a lovely surprise, it was an old bakery turned into a pub. its like pubs used to be, stone floors, many different beers and good company.
The food was so good we went back the second night, I just had a starter of pate, it came and looked like a full meal, toast, salad, red onion marmalade...wonderful, my OH had a small fish and chips, the chips are the big chunky ones and are delicious , the second night we had a roast dinner...the gravy is to die for...
We will be going back there when in LLandudno.

“Everyone should visit this pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

Great place; good beer; good food; attentive staff; great bands; full of character. The Cottage Loaf is my 'local' pub even though it is about 7 miles from where I live. If you want cheap go next door to Whetherspoons, if you want character come here.

What a great find.
Only had one drink there but it looked lovely and would definitely try the food there another time.
never thought we would find some where like that down a side street.

“Superb little find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2012

Found this pub quite by accident whilst wandering the streets of Llandudno.

Great local pint, very busy with (it seemed) locals. Fresh food, cooked to order. Large specials board and usual pub menu. We ordered our drinks but the barrel needed changing, the lady on the bar happily offered to bring our drinks to the table despite being busy. We returned the next day and had a gourmet burger and a steak and ale pie. Although it appeared to be "regular pub grub" the food was worthy of a decent restaurant, again staff friendly and accomodating. Sadly we only stayed for the weekend so didn't get chance to sample more of the menu!

A real olde worlde pub feel with a bit of a twist.
