A lovely little pub tucked away down a side street in the town centre.
It has a rustic farmhouse appearance, both inside and out, and is obviously well maintained.
The pub has a good selection of cask ale, continental lager and fine spirits that are competitively priced. It also boasts a good menu of home-cooked food, again well priced, that arrived swiftly after ordering and tasted very good.
The staff were polite and friendly, as were the patrons, making for a really good atmosphere.
