“Can't rate the this hotel highly enough”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2010

Stayed at the Tynedale with my Mum for a late weekend break. From the moment we arrived to the minute we booked out Nathan and his team couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and accomodating. We stayed in one of the junior suites which I can highly recccomed, lots of space beautifully clean and worth every penny. The entertainment was different both nights and the atmospher was very friendly and you totally got the feeling that the team cared if you enjoyed your stay,tThe food and dining room staff was worthy of a much more expensive and top class hotel. If you are considering staying in LLandudno treat yourself to a break at The Tynedale.

The accomodation is first class, food wonderful, service very good, would definitely come back again, only one problem and that was the idiot in the saxo with the noisy exhaust that woke us and other guests every night sometimes twice a night parking at the back of the hotel. Apart from this we had a wonderful time.

We stayed at the Tynedale hotel as part of a coach party. The hotel is centrally located and very convenient for the promenade, the local shops, the beach, the pier and theGreat Orme tramway. Our room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The entertainment each night, from local artistes was also excellent.

l am the owner of a small coach company and always looking for good hotels and the Tynedale is one of the best l have ever stay in from the moment we checked our group in they were greeted wtih tea and cake what a good start but it got better and better.
friendly staff ,excellent meals. first class entertainment every night and the location of the Tynedale is overlooking the Bay and within easy walking distance of the town. None of our group wanted to leave and cant wait to go back. the only problem is you have to book early. i have never written a reveiw before but this hotel needs to be mentioned you will not be dissapointed

This was my first visit to the Tynedale & it definately won't be the last, I stayed there with my mum & sister & we had the best time!! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed & looked after throughout our stay, the staff were all very friendly & helpful. The modern, stylish decor throughout the hotel & the bedrooms was absolutely fantastic which made it a very pleasant & comfortable stay. The bedrooms were very clean & the towels were changed daily & there were tea/coffee making facilities, tv's & hairdryers. The food in the restaurant was excellent, with a varied menu everyday & was always very well presented. We especially liked the breakfasts which were lovely & just enough & served until 9.45am which for us was ideal. The service in the restaurant was first class, the waiters were really pleasant, especially "Tom P" who was well mannered, very efficient & he looked after us really well, a credit to the Tynedale I would say. Llandudno for me brings back many happy childhood memories & I still love to holiday there now, it has definately not lost it's charm & has remained unspoilt over the years. The only negative for us was that the Cafe Bar closed as midnight which for most of the elderley guests is fine, however for any younger guests like us, this is not ideal. Surprisingly, the majority of guests were elderley & we thought the hotel would have attracted a good mix of age groups, we were by far the youngest there however, this was our first stay so maybe next time, it will be different. Overall, excellent!!

Usuually stay at the St Georges Hotel but as they where fully booked used tripadvisor to find alternative. Chose Tynedale Hotel because there was not one bad review but was surprised that the prices where the same as St. Georges which is a 4*.
The Executive room which was £122 per night Bed and Breakfast for the two of us was vastly over priced, yes it had a fantastic view but so have all the sea front hotels, and the breakfast portions were quite miserable.
A comparable room at St. Georges is £120 per night but ismuch more luxurious.
Whilst having a shower in this Executive room bathroom, (I didnt even attempt to swing a cat), the water was lapping around the ankles because it would not drain away , which I really hate as you do not know where the water is coming from, and even though I reported it twice nothing happened to remedy the problemand and to cap it all as we where booking out I mentioned it again, and once more had the promise that it would be looked at, TOO LATE, we are booking out.
Also booked an early morning wake up call as we were going to get the first train up to the top of Snowdon, and it was imperative that we got there on time, the wake up call came 20 minutes late, with an apology I must admit, but an apology doesnt help when you are rushing around at the start of the day to ensure that you get there on time.
All in all a disapointing experience and as regards all the other fantastic reviews I am very suspicious.
