We visit my mum several times a year and each time we eat at Carlos. Booking is essential as it is always busy. As the portions are generous we usually miss the first course to save room for the sweets! Having worked our way through much of the menu we are never disappointed whether we have steak, fish or pasta dishes....all of which taste fresh and perfectly cooked. Also their sweets, especially the cheesecake, are generous and very tasty.
Although busy the staff are always friendly and there is no rush, and Carlo always recognises us and has a chat. Yes it's a bit expensive and somewhat crowded at times but its worth it for the atmosphere and food.
