“Friendly welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2013

This was our second visit to Wildings and we really enjoy being there. The views of the bay from our room were fantastic and the room was very spacious and comfortable.
The breakfasts are really good and plentiful and you can be assured of a friendly welcome from the owner Frank and waitress Deborah.

Room Tip: Room 4 has a wonderful view of the bay from the large bay window

Weekend break at the Wildings, the breakfast are fantastic, views of the bay are superb.Very friendly staff,.The room we had was No 4, this is a very large room with excellent seaviews, the sunrise in the morning was an amazing site as the room has a large bay window, great for watching the world go by on the seafront.

Stayed over the weekend with my wife recently end October. Had a room with a great view over the bay. Breakfasts were great and so was the very comfortable four poster bed. Some staff issues apparently while we were there but no problems caused as a result. We will return..

Loved the lounge, with its fire and views of sea and Bonfire Night fireworks, all within baby monitor reach of the comfortable family room. Travel Cot and booster seat provided, ideal for our little one. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful, thanks for a lovely weekend.

Stayed here very recently and can honestly say that I found the experience to be not very nice at all. The room was acceptable to an extent, the bed lining was clean although the pillow cases were inside out and the cups had old tea stains in. Polish and hoovering is defintely required!! The bathroom however had brown/black marks on the floor and the shower was filthy. The breakfast again was acceptable although there appeared to be very little in the way of staff, just Frank the owner who was not in the best frame of mind and rude also. I would have expected a bit more politeness from an owner. It really is a shame as choose this hotel due to the great reviews on here and cannot understand just quite what has happened. The hotel is in a remarkable location but that is the only good point, some manners and politeness wouldn't go amiss and neither would staff as the hotel lacks cleanliness, friendliness and people, which is understanble as I won't be going back!!!

Room Tip: Avoid please
