“Lovely accommodation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We recently had a two night break in Bo's Cottage with our sixteen month old son and parents. The accommodation was just as advertised, lovely furnishings and very clean and to a high standard. We were met by Jan, the housekeeper, who was very friendly and welcoming and made us laugh! The cottage is within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and seafront. We also travelled to Drusilla Park by car which took fifteen minutes. The bedrooms were a nice size and the living room was big enough for four adults and a child without feeling squashed. We really enjoyed our stay at Bo's Cottage and would definitely stay here again. Jo, Dell & Josh

“DELIGHTFUL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Stayed at Bo's cottage for 2 nights with our daughter, partner and grandson and had a warm welcome when we arrived by Jan a great character who is very friendly and helpful and who keeps the cottage looking lovely. There was milk and butter in the fridge and fresh bread and tea which was a nice touch. Plenty of towels and little extras in the bathroom. We all enjoyed our stay and had wished it was for longer.
Hi De Hi to Jan who I know used to work at Warners holiday camp on the Isle of Wight in the 70's and was the one who used to ring the bell in the mornings to wake everyone up. (How times have changed).
Hopefully we will be back sometime but for longer.

“Lovely little cottage”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Bo's cottage was an ideal base for a weekend at Eastbourne Extreme being right next to the town centre and a 20 minute walk from the action down past the fort. Lovely touches provided on arrival included milk, butter and bread - really helpful as we arrived late on the Friday night.

Only thing I'd recommend is popping a bin in the bedrooms and bathroom. :)

“Great Cottage for a visit to Eastbourne”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to stay in Eastbourne. We had a very friendly welcome from the housekeeper, who had got us bread and milk in and showed us the ropes. The house itself was lovely and clean and well equipped. The bedrooms in particular are lovely, and the beds are very comfy. The location is handy for town, just down a side street near the train station, and it means you can get away from the hustle and bustle towards the sea front when you want too. All in all a great stay, and I would certainly be happy to stay there again.

Liked best: The comfy beds
Liked least: It would be nice if there was some board games or a deck of cards for if the weather turned sour.

“Excellant location- In a quiet spot but close enought to shops etc”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

+++Excellent accommodation and comfortable++++.

This cottage is the perfect place to stay in Eastbourne, very clean, with everything that you could possibly need, is close to the railways station, shops and all amenities, but in the mean time noiseless.

Great welcome from Jan. on arrival.

We also appreciated the welcoming kit on our arrival: tea, coffee, soaps etc.

We really hope to come back to Bo's Cottage in the future.Ideal location and personal touches in the cottage made us feel at home. Bryan was very helpful and always on hand if needed.

Stay over for only 2 nights but had a great break.

“Highly Recommended”

Excellent accommodation, comfortable in every way especially the beds! Good welcome from Jan and lots of goodies to start off our holiday. Ideal location and personal touches in the cottage made us feel at home. Bryan was very helpful and always on hand if needed.
Would highly recommend for a central position in Eastbourne being close to station and shops etc., but in a quiet location. Thanks to all who made our holiday so enjoyable.

“Comfortable house in a good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013 for a stay in December 2012

Compact downstairs but room enough - cosy.

Very happy about the memory foam mattresses on the beds! So often I have found poorly supporting mattresses in holiday homes, particularly on single beds. I suspect many owners think they will only be used by children. The mattress here was very comfortable, ensuring good rest - so important!

House was in a quiet corner but a stone's throw from the station; a couple of mins from the shopping centre and only a few mins more to the seafront. Really ideal.

I was also allowed to bring a poorly guinea pig (kept in his cage!) In order to keep an eye on him and this was particularly appreciated as Christmas is an awkward time of year to ask friends to pet-sit.

Free wifi - great!

Helpful and friendly property manager Jan made us very welcome and provided a good welcome pack (bread, butter, milk). Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days over Christmas and will definitely return. Highly recommended.
