most enjoyable weekend in Eastbourne helped by having somewhere like the Reymar to stay, Paul is a host that knows how to look after His guests and knows what cleanliness is too. great Breakfast, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Reymar again.

Stayed there for two nights during February half term. We were given connecting rooms (on request). The rooms were tiny and the shower room was so small that the basin in the bedroom! The beds were really uncomfortable and it got really cold at night! We had to go sleep with jumpers and socks on! There is no reception service! The car park is tiny (6 cars but you have to block the other cars)! We mainly parked on the street outside! The staff were really friendly and helpful but the reason I wasn't happy with this "Guesthouse" because I was looking for a hotel with services and this hotel came up under my search because they are called "eastbourne reymar hotel"!! I will not be staying there again purely because of the rooms and no service!

Thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on our excellent service and facilities. However we are one of the only properties with its own car park and it can get busy therefore we operate a first come first served basis.
We are sorry that you felt cold , if you had got in touch with the Manager, he would have offered you additional heating. Some rooms do have restrictions and if you were not happy we could have moved you to a different room.but we are pleased you enjoyed your experience in Eastbourne.

great hotel good location we had the family room , breakfast was good .only a little moan the bath is a bit slippery and could do with a non slip bath mat and maybe a grab rail inside the bath. parking was very good and if you can't get in the car park there is parking down the road , and as for a previous reviewer saying about the derelict buildings opposite the hotel well they are being refurbished at the moment so it will look nice ,

Stayed here last week for work and enjoyed my stay very much. I was the only guest over the weekend and spent one night away at a mate's house in London. On my return there was a note from the owner checking to make sure I was alright. Thoughtfulness all around. Only issues were a bathroom window which wouldn't close and the TV signal wasn't very good (though it was cloudy most of the stay.

You can walk to restaurants, pubs and convenience stores. And of course the sea is a half block away.

Huge thanks to Amanda and Paul, who run this lovely hotel so perfectly. I was not expecting the level of service, care, cleanliness and comfort I received at this great find in Eastbourne. It has a great location, no issues with parking, and the rooms are very reasonably priced for the quality of stay. The breakfasts are absolutely yummy and set you up for the day. The whole place is immaculately clean, with compfortable beds, plenty of pillows, towels etc. It sounds like they've had a disgruntled ex-member of staff writing some negative reviews on here, but look at all the positives from real contributing Tripadvisor members. Heartily recommended!

I have stayed here a couple of times for 4 nights and then 2 nights on the following week and experienced a pleasant stay on both occasions. The Manager and staff are all so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. My room was on the top floor and had everything I needed - the drinks tray in the room was very well stocked and the bed was very comfortable, I slept like a log!

I only made it down to breakfast on two occasions but the cooked breakfast was great and there was also a good choice of continental as well.

All in all a good little find that offers excellent value for money.
